GDYO and UNT Flute Choirs Make Beautiful Music Together

On April 24th, GDYO’s Flute Choir will present their Spring Concert with special guests, the University of North Texas Flute Choir, under the direction of Dr. Daniel Pardo.  The UNT Flute Choir is comprised of undergraduate and graduate students in the areas of performance, education, and other fields such as Psychology and Chemistry. DMA candidate Daniel Pardo directs this ensemble for the 2015-16 season.  The performance on Sunday will feature Gioachino Rossini’s The Barber of Seville Overture, Vincenzo Sorrentino’s Inno for Joueurs, Jonathan Cohen’s Flutes and Vegetables, Johann Sebastian Bach’s Cantata 142, and Catherine McMichael’s A Gaelic Offering. Join us for this FREE concert at the First United Methodist Church of Denton, on Sunday, April 24, at 3:00pm.
